The Father's Love

THE FATHER’S LOVE
Monday, February 1, 2016

The Father’s love did not start at the cross, neither did the fullness of its expression end there, his love is eternal, it is from alpha to omega. John said something touching in 1 John 2:15, he said, if a man loves the world it is because the (revelation) of the love of the father is not in him.

Truly I struggled with many things; commitments, sacrifice, habits even as a Christian until I encountered certain levels of the love of God. The level of your sacrifice, zeal and commitment towards God is determined by your depth of the revelation of His love.

This is his love, that one day he had a thought and fell in love with a mind picture, and so he gathered himself together, he said, “let us make man in our own image and in our likeness” and so man came to the picture, the very image of God replicated, and God was madly in love.

At the cool of the day he would come down to man, not telling man to come up to him, and then he would fellowship with man. He appointed the cherubim that cover his glory to cover the geography where man stayed, yeah, God was really protective, the cherubim was his best guard.

But man, the bride that God was so obsessed about began to listen to Lucifer, a rebelled creature of God far below God in hierarchy and Lucifer led man out of the garden through lust and vain ambition. How could Lucifer steal the God’s bride? that was really insulting, and God was angry-jealous

But He began to put measures in place to recover man back to himself, so through animal sacrifice man atoned for his sin to some degree, and could come a distance close to God. But soon the Trinity for the first time had to split; Jesus came to earth, became flesh, to associate and win back his bride.

Why would God chase man when he could simply create another? Why would God chase a rebelled creature for centuries? Why didn’t he destroy man completely? Lucifer sinned once and was destroyed eternally, but man keeps sinning and God keeps pleading, what is it about this creature that God is crazy about?

And so Jesus died to bring us back to God. You can’t imagine the pleasure God derives from the life worship of man, it is of sweeter savor to him than the worship of the holy angels. God has proposed to you for eternity, when are you gonna say “Yes”, he has given everything what are holding back?

SELAH: Behold the Father’s Love

Whats My Tomorrow?

WHAT’S MY TOMMOROW?
Sunday, January 31, 2016

“Now the just shall live by faith” (Heb 10:38)

Maybe you once sat in a lonely place and wondered where your life was heading. Sometimes you would pause and ask yourself certain ground shaking questions; “What does my tomorrow holds?” “How would I get there?” “Would I ever get there?” “How soon would I get there?”

Or perhaps you sometimes get to the edge and question your very purpose for living, “Maybe I was not called to do this” You see, our environment was not faith designed.

The News headlines are more often than not New Tragic Headlines. The publicity of causalities, tragedy, failures, chaos, crime, inter alia, have long out ran the publicity of success and achievement. The campaign of evil have camped in our minds, and we have become campaigners of same.

Family, friends and colleagues often don’t help. More people disbelieve you than believe you. Motivation is hardly found (well you have to create it). Positivity is found in deep wells; for if a man were to live by sight, the more he sees the closer he comes to his grave.

Heart attack, high blood pressures, frustrations, madness, and so on are inevitable gifts that come by seeing and hearing the realities of this realm. The media announces cancer, HIV Aids, laser fever, Ebola, malaria, and then you just come to the conviction that the world is an evil place with man as an endangered species, and of course you are that man.

God knew this and so he gave a grand formula for joy and fulfillment, he said, don’t live by sight, the just shall live by faith. Don’t live by looking into the world and its tragedies, live by looking unto Jesus. Don’t fill your mind with tragic stories, get filled with the spirit and the word

But it’s difficult to live everyday by faith. To see the natural tragic ends of things and believe you would be an exception. To see unemployment, high mortality rate, poverty and think you would be an exception when nothing in you proves you better than its daily victims…

To achieve purpose I give you a formula, First, Prepare for tomorrow with all your strength. You dream to be great, but if you are placed in that position, do you think you would fit in? Second, Wait on God, favor is when preparation meets opportunity. The just shall live (daily) by faith.

SELAH: Tomorrow may not appear rosy, today pro’ly isn’t, but Jesus is, so look to him
SELAH: When it comes to purpose, faith is preparation

The Virtue of Hope

THE VIRTUE OF HOPE
Friday, January 29, 2016

“But ye have need of patience that after you have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise” Heb 10:36

Perhaps you are sitting in that wheel chair, you are lying on that sick bed, you are sitting in that chair, in that couch, in that bad situation and your thoughts are all rowded up. You seem not to be able to come to the reality that God is faithful, you have done all you know to do.

I understand that this is a bad situation. Our generation have lost words of encouragement for people in distress, it is an embarrassment to faith. Oh, but there are such times that when what you believe, what you have proved to work, does not deliver your miracle in your timing.

There is a virtue in God, it is called hope. After all the mechanisms have been put in place, there is a place of sitting down and watching the magic happen. Jesus is seated in the right hand of God in unshaken Hope that his legal work would be effected by his executors, man, on earth.

For the LORD said unto my Lord, seat down on my right hand until I make your enemies your foot stool. Ps 110. Everything in the spirit has a time of life, which is a very complicated concept. Not everything happens instantly some happen gradually. It’s like the life of plants.

You need faith to hope. You must believe that your miracle has happened no mater what the devil or flesh says; that things have changed in the spirit realm and await them, in praise. It’s okay if you don’t believe they have changed, but don’t you dare give up, don’t you dare stop.

Know something about life, life comes sometimes as a bully searching for your breaking point, those in Christ have no breaking point, for all the days of their appointed time, they will wait. Job 14:14. Cast not away your confidence in God which brings a tangible reward. Heb 10:35

SELAH: It may take time, but it will surely happen. Be strong!’

The Mysteries of the Plough

THE MYSTERIES OF THE PLOUGH
Thursday, January 28, 2016

“…No man, having put his hands to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God” (Luke 9:62)

Wait! Before you dare put your hands on that plough you need to read this caveat! Oh, it’s okay if your hands are on the plough already, just listen carefully.

You are about to embark on a very stressful journey, soon the glamor would fade out the excitement would heave up. Soon it would appear monotonous, you would get fagged out, friends would begin to mock you. Very soon it will get really sweaty and dirty; you would literally feel irritated.

Dear zealous one, when the dust of euphoria and joy settles what would keep you going? I understand that your marriage is heaven now, but what about when Hell knocks and says, “Holla, a delivery man here!” Now ministry is glamorous what happens when the dust settles…

Maybe you still don’t get what the plough is, the plough is that Purpose you said you were going to die for. Whether you like it or not, to be successful in this life your hands must be on a plough and not just any plough; the right plough; because there is a connection between purpose and prosperity. Ps 23:5

You would have to answer this question, “what would keep me going when the dust settles?” To birth anything in this world there are travails. Focus alone is enough affliction because it robs you of the full pleasure of many other things, but you have to choose and stick your neck there.

Maybe you were told that if you do something you love there would be no travails or feelings of discouragement or disappointments or even failure, educate yourself this morning, and decide what would keep you going. You have to make a commitment and covenant with destiny not to look back.

SELAH- It’s easy and tasty to get pregnant, but why not try the delivery room

The Lost Cause

THE LOST CAUSE
Wednesday, January 27, 2016

“For this CAUSE shall a man leave his father and mother, and be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh” (Eph 5:31) (read chapter)

Overwhelming is the statistics of failed marriages manifested in the form of heated homes, adulterous homes, divorce, among others. Purpose is a compass. When the purpose of a thing is unknown, temporal survival is possible, but accident and collapse is inevitable.

Countless are the dimensions of marital frustrations, but everything boils down to a cause. Scriptures say, for this cause shall marriage happen, for what cause? Meaning there is an actual cause, or reason why marriage must happen; outside that is a voyage to frustration.

Before you answer the “Cause” question, you must understand that marriage was God’s initiative and God’s design, meaning the jurisdiction (legal survival/existence) of marriage is God. Outside God, marriage is an artificial preemption.

The singular and absolute assuredness for a successful marriage is the planting of same in God. People think that the fact they married in Church, or a church person is a guarantee for a successful marriage, I believe there are too many proofs to show the failure of church marriages.

Just like every dimension of God, there are principles and laws for the operation of marriage. Man was meant to fall in love with God as the bride of God, and then study his/her relations with Him, how he was treated/ how she submitted to God as a necessity for progress, and then act out that reality in the physical world (spouse)

Marriage was designed to live/act out God’s love to man, demonstrating it between a man and a woman. This is why we don’t marry in heaven because we (the church, the bride) will be with our husband Christ Jesus and therefore there will be no need to act the love, or act the marriage.

Marriage is evangelism, in the similitude of Jesus’ words, “I see my father work and so I work” so we say, “I see my father love and so I love”, “I see him sacrifice and so I sacrifice” The best couples are those that best portray the fathers love and the church’s (bride’s) ideal character.

This is the reason why the family is considered as part of the Seven Mountains of the World.
(Media, Entertainment, Politics, Academics, Business, religion, family) It is from this very revelation that all the Christian laws of marriage are drafted, outside this foundation is dross

Many love God but they don’t understand that marriage essence is to act a movie called “the Christ and His Bride” Your marriage is a picture of your walk with God whether you knew this before or not. Now you know the foundation, you can draft out your marital parameters.

SELAH: Do it right, know the right cause!

Shalom!

Author and Finisher

AUTHOR AND FINISHER
Tuesday, January 26, 2016

“Looking unto Jesus the author (initiator) and finisher (performer) of our faith…” (Heb12:2)

What do we mean by “author and finisher of our faith?” This is one of the most notorious expressions among believers. Yet to many it is just information and not revelation, because the true essence and depth is not manifested in many lives.

There is a dimension in God called Alpha Omega, Initiator Performer, Author Finisher, Beginner Completer…  Scriptures says, God works in us both to will (desire) and effect His will. (phil2:13).  He that started the good work in us, He is able to perfect it.

When we say God is the author of our faith, we are saying that he is first our faith, then he is the initiator of our faith through his divine ways, and then he authorized our faith by delegating his authority to us; “Heal the sick, cast out demons, raise the dead, preach the gospel”

The author dimension of God speaks of his power to create, to initiate, but unfortunately many believers have camped around this dimension of God and so the effect is two pronged.

First, they believe in certain limits in wealth, fulfillment, academics, life, etc. Again they believe that their blessings would eventually be terminated someday. They quote “all things work together for good” but deep down they believe like Job that one day misfortune would come.

But the “finisher of our faith” is the further dimension of Author. Although there is a desire to be successful, there is a desire to heal the sick, there is a desire to do great things, but God is not only able to put the desire there, but also to sustain you until you get to the peak of your blessing.

Many believe that God can heal the sick, but they don’t dare try to pray for a sick person, unconsciously they don’t believe he is finisher through them. Many live in fear of failure, fear of defeat, but I need you to believe that God started the good work, trust him with completing it.

You can get to the peak of success, to the peak of your blessings; you can walk in the realm of the manifestation of what you believe, if only you would engage the dimension of God called sustainer and finisher. It may be tough now, but he is working something out. Be strong!

SELAH: He does not just want to bring you out of Egypt, he wants to take you to Canaan

Operation of Spirits

OPERATION OF SPIRITS
Monday, January 25, 2016

“Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked” (Eph 6:16)

The Soul is the cockpit/ ignition point of everyman. The spirit and body, without a soul is an impossible equation. The soul is the magic that unites the spirit and the body. In spiritual matters there are three battle grounds, the Soul/mind, the Church, and Heavenly places.

The soul consists of the mind, the will, the intellect and emotions of a man. Take a breadth and examine yourself, your greatest battles have been the battles of your mind. ‘

You must understand that when God said all power (authority) is with him, it means the devil is powerless. However, scriptures warns against ignorance of his devices, meaning he has certain manipulative strategies, and although defeated by Jesus, he could manipulate his way into controlling the ignorant.

Scriptures summarizes the entire scope and strategy of the devil into this, Satan, is come to steal, then kill and thereafter destroy. Now what he does is that he steal’s what a person have rendering such a person naked and helpless, in this reality he destroys the soul in hell.

So spiritual intelligence is guarding what you have from the thief. To be very direct with our text (Eph 6:16) God’s instruction is that we must be a Snob to the devil to overcome him, because Gods word says; “take faith as a shield”, what is faith? Looking unto Jesus

The devil has no authority (exousia) above man, but he has power (dunamis) that contends with man’s authority. But again, the devil’s greatest power is not demons, but man. This is difficult to take. But in this realm called earth, divinity partners with humanity to birth reality.

By implication if no man on earth yields to the devil, the devil would be a piece of rag. Both God and the kingdom of darkness seek partnership with man by contending for the soul. Now before a spirit whether of God or the devil can operate, there must be a foundation.

For God to operate in a man, there must be a foundation in his soul or heart called Faith. Before the kingdom of darkness can operate there must be a foundation in same, called doubt, unbelief, fear, and everything contrary to the faith in Christ.  Let’s stop here today.

SELAH: Create the right foundation in your heart!

Shalom!
